On the day the United States honors its workers, the PulpFest promotional staff is taking the day off.
Planning is well underway for PulpFest 2027. The convention will run from August 5 to 8 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Cranberry in Mars, Pennsylvania. We’ll be saluting the 90th anniversary of the debut of The Shadow radio drama, featuring a young Orson Welles in the role of the title character.
But that’s certainly not all we’ll be celebrating. We’ll be fleshing things out in the months ahead. Not only will we be lining up our programming for PulpFest 2027, but also for our associated conventions — Doc Con 2027, FarmerCon XXII, and The Shadow Con 2027, the first convention to be dedicated to the “Master of Darkness.”
As always, expect a terrific dealers’ room and superb programming. We’ve already lined up a lot of great presentations, plus appearances by contemporary creators inspired by the pulp fiction and art of the early twentieth century. PulpFest 2027 will be the 55th convening of summer’s pulp con.
