The International Classic Monster Movie Conference and Film Festival will feature British actress, model, and singer, Caroline Munro, known for her many appearances in horror, science fiction, and action films from the 1970s and 1980s. Also appearing will be Martine Beswick — best known for playing opposite Raquel Welch in the Hammer remake of One Million Years B.C. and her roles in two James Bond films, From Russia with Love and Thunderball — Joshua Kennedy, Valerie Leon, Pauline Peart, Victoria Vetri, and many others, including the legendary Ohio TV horror host, Son of Ghoul.
Monster Bash celebrates the classic horror and science fiction films of the silent era through the 1980s. It’s a film festival; a place to meet the people in the movies, behind the movies, and fellow fans of the movies; and a monster memorabilia shopping gala.
Featuring over 100 vendor tables of collectibles, monster magazines, original movie posters, Blu-Rays, DVDs, VHS, model kits, action figures, comic books, vintage toys, and more, there will also be an extensive film festival, guest talks and interviews, a live musical performance, game shows, taco night, monster-sized sheet cakes, drive-in movie night, and other events.

About one month after this fall’s Monster Bash, Pulp Adventurecon will take place. This enjoyable, one-day event will be at the Sheraton Bucks County Langhorne, 400 Oxford Valley Road in Langhorne, Pennsylvania on Saturday, December 7. Conveniently located near the intersection of Interstate 295 and Pennsylvania Route 1, the convention will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10.
Rich Harvey — winner of the 2021 Munsey Award — and Audrey Parente — the publishers of Bold Venture Press — have put together Pulp AdventureCon for over 20 years. The convention hosts collectors, artists, authors, and vendors of rare pulp magazines, vintage paperbacks and comic books, movie memorabilia, and related paper collectibles. The show emphasizes collectibles from 1900 to 1970, the years encompassing a significant portion of the “pulp era.” However, you will find collectibles from before and after that time.

All this, plus ERBFest and FarmerCon XX, plus the long awaited return of Doc Con at PulpFest 2025. That’s four conventions for the price of one!
