PulpFest 2024 ended on August 4, but you can relive our latest gathering through the reports and recordings that have been (or will be) posted online.
If you couldn’t make PulpFest this year, you missed a fantastic weekend of pop culture programming, buying and selling vintage collectibles and original art, and much more.
Hopefully, the links listed below will encourage you to make the trip to Mars, Pennsylvania in 2025 for next year’s PulpFest. We’ll be back at the DoubleTree from August 7 – 10 for PulpFest 2025.

- Mike Glyer has posted about this year’s Munsey Award winner, Gene Christie, on his award-winning File 770 blog.
- Bill Lampkin of ThePulp.Net — and others — posted photos from PulpFest to Instagram during the convention using #pulpfest2024. You can also view his photos on his blog, Yellowed Perils.

For Your Viewing and Listening Pleasure . . .
- Brandon Purvis, host of The Book Rapport on YouTube, was a first-time PulpFest attendee this year. He provides an overview of the convention, including a lengthy segment showcasing the dealers’ room, and a look at the books he purchased.
- ThePulp.Net is in the process of editing audio from a baker’s dozen of presentations from PulpFest 2024. They will also be available on its website and through its Pulp Event Podcast (hopefully in the next few weeks). What about Next Year?
Although PulpFest 2024 may be over, there’s plenty of time to plan to attend our 2025 gathering. The convention returns to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Cranberry, just north of Pittsburgh, from Thursday, August 7, through Sunday, August 10. We’ll also have early dealer set-up on Wednesday evening, August 6, beginning at 7 pm.
We’ll be celebrating the “Masters of Blood and Thunder” — Edgar Rice Burroughs, Rafael Sabatini, and Edgar Wallace — on the 150th anniversary of their births. We’ll also salute pulp villains, Adventure magazine, and more at PulpFest 2025. We hope you’ll join us at the DoubleTree.
