PulpFest 50 will stop accepting advance registrations on Sunday, July 31, at 10 PM eastern time. We will shut down our PulpFest Paypal page at that time.
A full-weekend advance membership to PulpFest 50 will cost you $35 — if staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Cranberry — and $40 if staying elsewhere. If you’d like to take part in our early-bird shopping in the dealers’ room from 12 to 4:5 PM on Thursday, August 4, it’s free if you’re staying at our host hotel. That’s how we thank loyal attendees who help to defray the convention’s costs by staying at our host hotel. There’s an added cost of $30 to be an early bird for those staying elsewhere.
For those of you who prefer not to register in advance, you will be able to do so at the door. A full weekend membership to PulpFest 50 will cost $40 at the door. Early-bird memberships for those not staying at the DoubleTree will cost an additional $30. Daily memberships for Friday or Saturday will also be available for $20 per day. A Sunday single-day membership will cost $10 to pay for our program book, THE PULPSTER #31. As many of our dealers generally begin to pack up on Sunday morning, buying opportunities may be limited.
All members — dealers included — will be able to register for the convention from 12 to 4:45 PM on Thursday, August 4. Our registration desk will be at the entrance to our dealers’ room at the DoubleTree. To help things move smoothly, please bring along a completed registration form. You can download a copy by clicking here or through the link found on our registration page. You can also register for the convention at our front desk during our daytime hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Our registration desk will be open throughout the convention during our dealers’ room hours. You’ll find our hours by clicking the programming button on our website. Or click here to link to our 2022 mobile schedule.
For more details, please click the registration button on our website.
Your PulpFest membership allows entry to all convention activities, including our daytime and evening programming, our auction, and our dealers’ room.
Children, accompanied by a parent, who are fifteen and younger will be admitted free of charge to PulpFest 50. However, they must be registered for the convention and in the company of a parent.
The general public is very much welcome to attend our evening programming free of charge. However, to enter our dealers’ room, you must be registered for the convention. Members of the general public will also be able to attend our auction on Saturday evening, August 6, for a $5 non-refundable fee to bid during the auction. However, the $5 fee can be applied toward a single winning bid. You can register for our auction at our front desk during our daytime hours on Friday or Saturday.
Designed by PulpFest’s advertising director, William Lampkin, our PulpFest 50 web postcard features the work of illustrator Allen Anderson, who painted the cover art for the March 1952 number of Planet Stories, published by Fiction House.
Please remember that if you’re not from the Pittsburgh area, don’t forget to book a room. Call 1-800-222-8733 or 724-776-6900 to reach the DoubleTree. Although the convention rate is no longer available, there may be some vacancies at the hotel.
