A block of rooms has been reserved for PulpFest 2021 attendees at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Cranberry. However, to receive the special convention rate of $129 plus tax per night, you must book your room by Tuesday, July 27.
If you have not yet reserved your DoubleTree room, please do so as soon as possible. There are very few rooms remaining in our room block. Once they are gone, our block cannot be expanded.
You can place your reservation directly through the PulpFest website. At the top of our page, you’ll find a button that reads “Book a Room.” Click it and you’ll be redirected to a secure site where you can book a room at the DoubleTree.
You can also reserve a room by calling 1-800-222-8733. Please be sure to mention PulpFest in order to receive the special convention rate. Included in the room rate are free Wi-Fi privileges in each sleeping room and the hotel’s lobby, plus two complimentary breakfasts per room for each day of your stay. There is ample free parking surrounding the hotel.
Conveniently located at the intersection of three major roadways, the DoubleTree boasts a fine restaurant in an open-air setting. There are many other restaurants nearby — some within walking distance — suitable for a variety of tastes. The more adventurous can discover plenty of dining, shopping, and nightlife just a short drive away in downtown Pittsburgh. The DoubleTree also offers a 24-hour fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a sauna.
By staying at our host hotel, you help defray the convention’s expenses. It also helps our hotel’s bottom line. To thank you for making PulpFest look good, you’ll receive free early-bird shopping on Thursday evening, August 19, in the PulpFest dealers’ room. That’s a savings of $35 by staying at the DoubleTree!

Start planning to attend PulpFest 2021 in Mars, Pennsylvania to celebrate “Love in the Shadows.” The convention begins on Thursday, August 19, and runs through Sunday, August 22. You can register for the convention by clicking the Registration button at the top of our page. The deadline for advance registrations is Monday, August 16, 2019, at 10 PM eastern time. Frank R. Paul, the “grandfather of science-fiction art,” painted the cover for the program book of the 13th World Science Fiction Convention — Clevention — held on September 2 – 5, 1955 at the Manger Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. Although the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Cranberry is not quite as futuristic as Paul’s illustration, our host hotel was completely renovated in 2016.
