Scheduled for August 7 – 11, PulpFest 2025 will take place at the beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Cranberry in Mars, Pennsylvania.
Register now and beat the rush. You’ll save money and get free early-bird shopping if you book a room at the convention’s host hotel. By staying at the DoubleTree, you help defray the convention’s expenses and show our hotel that PulpFest will help their bottom line.
Currently, there are plenty of rooms available at the DoubleTree from Thursday night through Sunday. You can make a reservation directly through the PulpFest website. You’ll find a link that reads “Book a Room” near the top of our page. Click the link and you’ll be redirected to a secure site to place your reservation.
When booking your room online, the dates automatically populate to Wednesday – Monday. Click the dates and make any changes on the calendar that appears. When done, close the calendar, and complete your reservation.
You can also reserve a room by calling 1-724-776-6900 or 855-610-8733. To receive the special convention rate of $136 plus tax per night, you must mention that you are a PulpFest attendee or use the code CDT91R.
Included in your room rate are complimentary hot breakfasts during each day of your stay. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are also included.
You must book your room by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, to get the special convention deal. Any reservations made after the deadline will be accepted at the best available rate if rooms are available. We recommend booking your room early as the hotel has been selling out well ahead of PulpFest.
Please note that a deposit equaling the first night’s room rate plus tax will be required at the time of reservation. You will have until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on July 7, 2025 — one month before the start of PulpFest 2025 — to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of your deposit. Any cancellation made after the deadline will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
If you’re having trouble booking a room, please click the “contact” button on our homepage and let us know how we can help. Thank you.

An early-bird membership will get you into the dealers’ room from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 7. Only staff, dealers, and early birds will be allowed into the dealers’ room during these hours.
Please realize that due to travel conditions and other contingencies, the convention cannot guarantee that each and every PulpFest dealer will be available during our early-bird hours.
Children aged 15 and younger, accompanied by an adult, will be admitted for free. However, they must be registered.
Please note that single-day memberships will not be available on Thursday, August 7. If you wish to participate in early-bird shopping, you will have to purchase a full membership to the convention.

Associated Cons
With three associated cons running concurrently with PulpFest, we’re curious to know which of those you are particularly interested in. Please fill out the brief form below to help us gauge interest.
For Dealers Only
All dealers and their helpers are required to purchase a full membership to PulpFest 2024.
PulpFest 2025 will have 150+ six-foot tables in its 10,880-square-foot dealers’ room. Wall tables and placement within the dealers’ room will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. About sixty wall tables will be available in our dealers’ room. If you desire a wall table, please make your reservation as soon as possible.
We urge everyone who wants to sell at PulpFest 2025 to register for the convention and reserve their tables early. In 2024, our dealers’ room sold out six weeks before the convention began.
Our table rental fees are as follows:
Island-table rental fee — $100 per table
Wall-table rental fee — $110 per table
For those who miss out, if you’d like to be placed on our waiting list for PulpFest 2025 dealers’ tables, please contact Jack Cullers at jack@pulpfest.com. Due to increased interest in being a PulpFest dealer, we are also investigating ways to safely add a limited number of wall tables along the outside front wall of our dealers’ room (in the registration area of the convention).
There will be no height restrictions on any tables. Displays will be allowed on tables as long as they can safely stand. Please use common sense and courtesy to design your displays.
No banners or other signage may be attached to the hotel’s walls with tape, tacks, or any other material. If you have a banner that you wish to display, you must provide your own banner stand. The convention is not responsible for providing you with a banner stand or easel to display your advertising.
All members registering as dealers are required to have material for sale at their tables. If you have any special needs — positioning within the room, unique display requirements, electrical needs, and so on — please let us know when you register.
Although the focus of PulpFest 2025 will be pulp magazines and related materials, genre fiction, vintage paperbacks, digests, men’s adventure and true crime magazines, first edition hardcovers, series books, dime novels, original art, Big Little Books, series books, dime novels, original art, Big Little Books, B-movies, vintage television shows, and movie serials, as well as related paper collectibles, old-time-radio shows, and Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age, and pulp-related comic books and games can also be sold. Please remember that PulpFest is not a comic book convention. Sexually explicit material, including Playboy, Penthouse, and Oui, will not be allowed to be displayed.
PulpFest 2025 will allow early-arriving dealers to begin setting up on Wednesday evening, August 6, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Absolutely no one who is not a dealer or dealer’s helper will be allowed into the dealers’ room during this period of time.
There will be no buying, selling, or trading permitted during set-up time. The time is meant to be used for set-up alone. If any dealer or dealer’s helper is observed buying, selling, or trading, that person will have to leave the dealers’ room immediately.
Dealers will also be able to set up early on Thursday, August 7, starting at 8 a.m. Selling to early-bird shoppers will begin at 9 a.m. and run until 4:45 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, August 8 – 9, the dealers’ room will also be open from 9 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. for all members of PulpFest 2025.
All dealers are urged to have their displays set up by 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 7. If you are not able to comply, please discuss your needs with convention chairperson Jack Cullers by emailing him at jack@pulpfest.com or writing him at the address noted below.
All registered dealers will be profiled in a series of posts that will run on the PulpFest website in mid-July. Our marketing director, Mike Chomko, will contact all registered dealers about the post.

Programming is Free at PulpFest
All programming at PulpFest 2025 is free and open to the public. Registration for the convention allows you to enter our dealers’ room. The convention’s programming will start at 6:50 p.m. on August 7.
PulpFest is for All to Enjoy
Our attendees come to PulpFest to celebrate and learn about popular culture, socialize, and enjoy themselves. Therefore, all attendees of PulpFest are asked to keep opinions of a political, religious, or societal nature to themselves.
If any convention attendee seeks to importune any PulpFest member with his or her opinions, the offending member will be asked to leave PulpFest.
Although you have a right to your opinions, our members — including dealers — are not at the convention to be lectured about politics, religion, and so on.

Volunteer for PulpFest 2025
If you are interested in volunteering at PulpFest 2025, please click the “contact” button on our homepage and let us know how you can help. Thank you.
Our “Masters of Blood and Thunder” postcard was adapted by William Lampkin from Clinton Pettee’s cover for the October 1912 issue of The All-Story, illustrating Edgar Rice Burroughs’ novel, “Tarzan of the Apes,” printed in its entirety.
Our featured image was adapted from a 1933 movie poster for King Kong, released by RKO Pictures and based on an idea conceived by Edgar Wallace and Merian C. Cooper. The artist is not known.
We’ll be saluting the “Masters of Blood and Thunder” — Edgar Rice Burroughs, Rafael Sabatini, and Edgar Wallace — who were born 150 years ago in 1875 at PulpFest 2025. Please join us from August 7 – 10 for PulpFest 2025 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Cranberry in Mars, Pennsylvania.
