With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, the Christmas shopping season isn’t too far behind. Why not ask that a PulpFest 2026 membership be tucked into your Christmas stocking?
Scheduled for July 30 – August 2, PulpFest 2026 will take place at the beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Cranberry in Mars, Pennsylvania.
Register now and beat the rush. You’ll save money and get free early-bird shopping if you book a room at the convention’s host hotel. By staying at the DoubleTree, you help reduce the convention’s expenses and demonstrate that PulpFest will help the hotel’s bottom line.
You can place a DoubleTree reservation directly through the PulpFest website. You’ll find a link that reads “Book a Room” near the top of our website. Click the link and you’ll be redirected to a secure site to place your reservation.
When booking your room online, the dates automatically populate to Wednesday – Monday. Click the dates and make your changes on the calendar that appears. When done, close the calendar and complete your reservation.
You can also reserve a room by calling 1-724-776-6900 or 855-610-8733. To receive the special convention rate of $138 plus tax per night, you must mention that you are a PulpFest attendee or use the code CDTPF7.
Included in your room rate are complimentary hot breakfasts each day of your stay. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are also included. If you use Hilton points to book your stay, the complimentary breakfasts are not included with your reservation.
You must book your room by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, to get the special convention deal. Any reservations made after the deadline will be accepted at the best available rate if rooms are available. We recommend booking your room early, as the DoubleTree has been selling out for PulpFest.
Please note that a deposit equaling the first night’s room rate plus tax will be required at the time of reservation. You will have until 11:59 p.m. on June 29, 2026 — one month before the start of PulpFest 2026 — to cancel your reservation and receive a refund of your deposit. Any cancellation made after the deadline will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
If you’re having trouble booking a room, please click the “contact” button on our homepage and let us know how we can help. Thank you.
Frank R. Paul, the “grandfather of science-fiction art,” painted the cover for the program book of the 13th World Science Fiction Convention — Clevention — held on September 2 – 5, 1955 at the Manger Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. Although the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Cranberry is not quite as futuristic as Paul’s illustration — excerpted for our featured image — the hotel was completely renovated in 2016.
Best known for the science fiction covers that he painted for Ned Pines’ Standard Magazines, Earle K. Bergey was also a leading cover artist for the “girlie” pulps. Our lead image is the November 1937 issue of Snappy. It was published by Donenfeld Magazines Publishing Corporation. We celebrated the 90th anniversary of Donenfeld’s line of Spicy pulps and more at PulpFest 2024.
A fan of horror and fantasy fiction, Jeanne Harding attended her first PulpFest in 2023, helping to celebrate the centennial of Weird Tales. You can read more of Jeanne’s contributions to pulpfest.com — including her look at the shudder pulps — by clicking here.
