Talking Pulp with Craig McDonald

We quietly launched PulpFest’s official YouTube Channel on August 17, 2022.

Nearly two years later, the channel so far contains over 45 videos of author Craig McDonald’s creation and we have garnered more than 700 subscriptions.

When we exceed 1,000 subscribers, we can access exciting new content options and other video opportunities. So if you haven’t already, please subscribe and hit the notification bell icon to receive word as new content is posted!

During our current calendar year, the channel has also achieved some notable milestones, including amassing more than 61,000 views of our short biographical video regarding legendary Black Mask editor Joseph T. “Cap” Shaw. Our short “Secret Agent X” video has also racked up an impressive 10,000-plus views to date.

As we mark our second anniversary on YouTube, we proudly announce the launch of a new, periodic program, Talking Pulp with Craig McDonald. It launches today!

This new offering will be an eclectic mix of taped or in-person videos, special programs, and more.

Episode #1 features a specially repackaged version of a well-received interview Craig recently conducted with artist Douglas C. Klauba at PulpFest 2024. You can watch it by clicking here.

Episode #2 features Craig’s chat with Ron Hill about his new documentary, “We Are Doc Savage,” celebrating Doc Savage fandom and its enduring legacy. The interview with Ron was taped shortly after the second of two special PulpFest 2024 screenings of Ron’s film.

These, and more exciting offerings await!

Stay tuned, and please subscribe to our YouTube Channel!

Kenneth Grant is a writer and popular culture enthusiast who began writing for our website in 2022. He particularly enjoys the hero pulps and has written about FarmerCon XIX, Ron Hill’s new documentary We Are Doc Savage, our PulpFest 2024 dealers, and more for pulpfest.com. He’s really looking forward to Craig McDonald’s new video series.
