The Pulpster #31The 2022 PulpFest program book is now available for sale. To make it easy for you to pick up a copy, we have an order page for your single-copy purchase.

The Pulpster #31  weighs in at 68 pages, plus covers. Inside, you’ll find six articles on Fiction House and their line of pulp magazines. There are also essays on The Avenger, Dime Mystery Magazine, William Lindsay Gresham and Nightmare Alley, Zane Grey, Rusty Hevelin, slabbing pulps, and even the pulps and The Church of Satan. This year’s cover art is by Allen Anderson, originally painted for the January 1952 issue of Planet Stories.

Although the first 28 issues of The Pulpster are out of print, we still have copies of The Pulpster #29 and 30 available for sale. The Pulpster #29 – 31  cost $15 each, plus $4 shipping in the USA. You can pay for your single-copy order via our Paypal link on our Pulpster order page. Quantities of each issue are limited.

In celebration of the Golden Anniversary of PulpFest, you can get all three issues for $45 postage paid in the United States when you place your order through our Pulpster order page. This offer is good through December 31, 2022, or while quantities remain.

The cover art for The Pulpster #31 was adapted by William Lampkin from Allen Anderson’s original cover for the January 1952 issue of Planet StoriesIn addition to editing and designing The Pulpster, Bill Lampkin runs ThePulp.Net and also writes the Yellowed Perils blog. He’s also the founder of the Facebook group Southern Pulpsters. A member of the PulpFest organizing committee, serving as the convention’s advertising director and webmaster, Bill won the Munsey Award in 2018.
