PulpFest

Advance Registrations Are Ending

PulpFest 2021 will stop accepting advance registrations on Sunday, August 15, at 10 PM eastern time. We will shut down our PulpFest Paypal page at that time.

A full-weekend advance membership to PulpFest will cost you $35 — if staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Cranberry — and $40 if staying elsewhere. If you’d like to take part in our early-bird shopping in the dealers’ room from 1 to 5 PM on Thursday, August 19, it’s free if you’re staying at our host hotel. That’s how we thank loyal attendees who help to defray the convention’s costs by staying at our host hotel. For those staying elsewhere, there’s an added cost of $30 to be an early bird.

For those of you who prefer not to register in advance, you will be able to do so at the door. A full weekend membership to PulpFest 2021 will cost $40 at the door. Early-bird memberships for those not staying at the DoubleTree will cost an additional $30. Daily memberships for Friday or Saturday will also be available for $20 per day. A Sunday single-day membership will cost $10 to pay for our program book, THE PULPSTER #30.

All members — dealers included — will be able to register for the convention from 1 to 5 PM on Thursday, August 19. Our registration desk will be at the entrance to our dealers’ room at the DoubleTree. To help things move smoothly, please bring along a completed registration form. You can download a copy by clicking here or through the link found on our registration page.

Our registration desk will be open throughout the convention during our dealers’ room hours. You’ll find our hours by clicking the programming button on our website. Or click here to link to our 2021 mobile schedule.

For more details, please click the registration button on our website.

Your PulpFest membership allows entry to all convention activities, including our evening programming, our auction, and ERB-Fest 2021, this summer’s convention for the fans of Edgar Rice Burroughs and his work.

Children, accompanied by a parent, who are fifteen and younger will be admitted free of charge to PulpFest and ERBFest 2021. However, they must be registered for the convention and in the company of a parent.

The general public is very much welcome to attend our evening programming free of charge. However, to enter our dealers’ room, you must be registered for the convention.

Designed by PulpFest’s advertising director, William Lampkin, our PulpFest 2021 postcard features the work of J. Allen St. John, who painted the cover art for the March 1941 issue of AMAZING STORIES. He is probably the most renowned of the Burroughs artists, having painted many dust jacket covers for the Tarzan novels, beginning with THE BEASTS OF TARZAN, published by McClurg in 1916.

Our featured image artwork is a wraparound cover for Geary Gravel’s novel, JOHN CARTER OF MARS: GODS OF THE FORGOTTEN, painted by acclaimed artist Chris Peuler. It is the latest “Edgar Rice Burroughs Universe” novel to be published by Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc.

Please remember that if you’re not from the Pittsburgh area, don’t forget to book a room. Call 1-800-222-8733 to reach the DoubleTree. Although the convention rate is no longer available, there may be some vacancies at the hotel.
