PulpFest 2019 will stop accepting advance registrations tonight at 10 PM eastern time. We will shut down our PulpFest Paypal page at that time.
A full-weekend advance membership to PulpFest will cost you $35 — if staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh – Cranberry — and $40 if staying elsewhere. If you’d like to take part in our early-bird shopping in the dealers’ room from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, August 15, it’s free if you’re staying at our host hotel. That’s how we thank loyal attendees who help to defray the convention’s costs by staying at our host hotel. For those staying elsewhere, there’s an added cost of $30 to be an early-bird.
For those of you who prefer not to register in advance, you will be able to do so at the door. A full weekend membership to PulpFest 2019 will cost $40 at the door. Early-bird memberships for those not staying at the DoubleTree will cost an additional $30. All members — dealers included — will be able to register for the convention from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, August 15. Our registration desk will be at the entrance to our dealers’ room at the DoubleTree. To help things move smoothly, please bring along a completed registration form. You can download a copy by clicking here or through the link found on our registration page.
Daily memberships for Friday or Saturday will also be available for $20 per day. A Sunday single day membership will cost $10 to pay for our program book.
Our registration desk will be open throughout the convention during our dealers’ room hours. You’ll find our hours by clicking the Programming button on our home page. Or click here to link to our 2019 mobile schedule.
For more details, please click the Register button on our home page.
Your PulpFest membership allows entry to all convention activities, including our evening programming and our auction. PulpFest badges are required to attend all activities. Children, accompanied by a parent, who are fifteen and younger will be admitted free of charge. So bring your family! The general public is very much welcome to attend.
(Designed by PulpFest’s advertising director, William Lampkin, our PulpFest 2018 post card features the work of freelance artist Mel Hunter. His painting was originally used as the cover to the May 1960 number of THE MAGAZINE OF FANTASY AND SCIENCE FICTION. Philip José Farmer’s “Open to Me, My Sister” was featured on the issue’s cover. We’ll be celebrating the centennial of Farmer’s birth at this year’s PulpFest.
Please remember that if you’re not from the Pittsburgh area, don’t forget to book a room at the DoubleTree. Call 1-800-222-8733 and be sure to mention PulpFest in order to receive any convention special deals that may still be available.)
